Chris and Jason are going through the progression of roles an entrepreneur takes on when they start a business and as the company grows. When starting out, you must wear all the hats and do everything from admin to accounting to marketing. Once you begin to grow, you can then hire someone to do the jobs you don’t like and concentrate on what you’re good at. They do emphasize that you should always focus on marketing and growth, and whether you like it or not, you will always have some H.R. responsibilities, no matter how big your company gets.
