Today, Chris and Jason break down the two worlds of real estate–the investor side, and the homeowner side.
First, they discuss the fact that it is in investors’ best interest to understand consumers and the type of financing provided by banks, since 90-95% of real estate transactions are primary residence deals. All the rules, regulations and licensing are based around homeowner real estate sales, and banks’ interest rates affect resale.
Then they talk about why realtors should pay attention to what investors are doing because not only are they great at marketing and renovating properties, but their finished homes drive up prices in their market. Chris and Jason believe it is beneficial to agents to work with investors.
Whichever side of the real estate market you are on, they emphasize that you should understand the industry as a whole to make your business the best it can be.
